Graduate Teaching Assistant · Northeastern University · Summer II 2026
Course Overview
Course: IE 7200 — Supply Chain Engineering (Graduate)
Role: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Institution: Northeastern University, Dept. of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering
Term: Summer II 2026 (Prof. Andrei Guschin, 11 students)
A graduate course on the design and operation of supply chains: network design, inventory, transportation, sourcing, and the trade-offs between them.
What I did
I developed supporting instructional materials and interactive exercises, held office hours, supported weekly recitations, and graded homework and projects.
The course sits close to my own work. My research is about decisions that are distributed across organizations that do not answer to each other, and a supply chain is the case where students already accept that premise without having to be persuaded of it. Nobody argues that a supplier, a carrier, and a retailer share an objective.
